Your Role

As a Senior New Business Development Manager for the Smart Manufacturing squad, you will be a key member of a project house focused on driving new business initiatives focusing in one or more market segment areas such as Tape-driven Manufacturing Automations, Tape-driven Robotics Solutions, Robotics Manufacturing Solutions, and other potential technologies related. You will work closely with the project house lead and other team members to validate, develop, and bring innovative solutions to market.

Your Responsibilities

Ideation & Validation (0-6 months):

  • Identify and validate new market opportunities.
  • Conduct market analysis, trend research, and competitive analysis.
  • Develop value propositions and business cases for innovative solutions.
  • Execute rapid prototyping and MVP testing with real customers.
  • Collaborate closely with internal innovation and technology teams

Incubation & Go-to-Market (6-18 months):

  • Build and develop the initial customer base.
  • Validate product-market fit based on data and customer feedback.
  • Develop partnerships and initial sales channels.
  • Support product development and iterative business model structuring.
  • Prepare venture spin-off or integration into the existing corporate portfolio.

Scale & Growth (18+ months):

  • Support the development and execution of scaling strategies.
  • Help establish a sustainable sales and marketing ecosystem.
  • Assist in managing fundraising and investments for the venture.
  • Implement efficient processes and structures for long-term growth.

  • Experience: 5-10 years in business development, corporate innovation, or strategic consultancy, or related fields.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Passion for innovation and building new business models.
  • Analytical Competence: Strong skills in market analysis, business model design, and strategic planning.
  • Agility & Hands-on Mentality: Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics and drive progress pragmatically.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Ability to work with C-level executives, partners, and operational teams.
  • Knowledge: Experience with Lean Startup, Design Thinking, Agile methods, and Corporate Venturing.
  • Fluent in English.
