Your role
In this role you will lead the development, execution, and rollout of the global training strategy of ZEISS Meditec for Ophthalmology and Microsurgery. You will set the global training goals and objectives and plan, implement and manage the training strategy that aims to strengthen company's market position, achieve desired business goals, and contributes to the overall growth of the company.
The primary tasks that you will be responsible for are:

Assess and identify the company's training needs, maintaining a consistent culture regarding training, and managing and directing employee and customer training

Implement digital tools to reach customers and internal stakeholders 24/7 and on demand

Lead the transformation from a purely product focused training to solution and workflow selling training which focuses on customer needs and ambitions as well as patient journey and customer workflows

Identify the global training needs through targeted GAP analysis and deriving training initiatives and KPIs that will serve these crucial business requirements

Define the structure and rollout of training programs on a worldwide scale while keeping the business objectives in mind

Lead project teams to design concentrated and solid training and learning pathways for our employees in Sales, Application, Marketing, Service, Customer Admin functions, and customers around the globe

Set up critical global and regional competencies for training teams, whether internal or external.

Collaborate closely concerning application support with the Business Sectors, the Sales and Service organizations, the training departments for service technicians as well as external partners (e.g. physicians)

Master's degree in business management or a similar area, or in the fields of medical science, medical technology, or engineering science

Relevant experience in medical field in a leadership role, within Sales and/or application

Extensive international experience in training, sales and application support, project management & resource management, leadership, thriving in matrix organization, strong communication skills

Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills

Courageous and strong leader with a pragmatic mindset and ability to manage multiple stakeholders

Ability to work effectively and with discipline in an international environment

Sound interpersonal and cross-cultural skills
-
Strong communication skills, fluent in English, German would be a plus
