Our Renewables Team is looking for you!

You would be joining the Wind Engineering team to support the technical development of our German wind portfolio. You will work with our team of project developers to provide the technical input needed at the different stages of project development, with particular focus on projects at an advanced stage of development, tendering and during construction. You will:

  • Provide technical and performance management as well as verification of the wind turbine scope, supporting the delivery of a wind farm wind turbine package
  • Lead the preparation and negotiation of technical aspects of Turbine Supply Agreements
  • Support our development teams by providing technical input into planning applications (e.g: BImSchG)
  • Work with our Engineers to develop the required specifications for the project and then lead design reviews to technically verify contractor engineering.
  • Work with the Project Manager to develop and manage the scheduling of the WTG delivery within the wider project plan
  • Support technical handover, close-out & resolution of warranty issues
  • Explain clearly technical aspects to key project stakeholders
  • Conduct site visits as required

  • A university degree in a technical field and/or education in a relevant area with several years of professional experience
  • Demonstrate relevant professional experience with negotating technical aspects of wind turbines supply agreements
  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic project environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven track record of international work experience and appreciation of cultural differences
  • Preferred primary office location Düsseldorf, but other Uniper locations are feasible as well. The role can also be predominantly home office based.
  • Business fluency in German and English
