Location: Langenfeld (+ occasional business trips)


  • Design and implement a forward-looking global portfolio strategy characterized by innovation and market potential
  • Conduct continuous analyses of the product portfolio and optimize it to identify new growth opportunities and strategic market and merger possibilities
  • Manage portfolio performance through sound, data-driven decisions
  • Lead international strategic projects in cooperation with the Management with high visibility and strategic importance
  • Monitor global market trends and derive well-founded strategic recommendations from them
  • Maintain cross-team roadmaps, allowing for up-to-date reporting to management
  • Support the Portfolio Management process, contributing to informed decision-making
  • Contribute to documentation, business cases, and prepare key reports for internal stakeholders

  • Qualification: Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • Abgeschlossenes Studium in Wirtschaft, Ingenieurwesen, Informatik oder einer verwandten Disziplin
  • Expertise & Know-how: Several years of experience, ideally in product or portfolio management in the software or insurance industry
  • Technical focus: Experience in implementing software solutions, ideally in the insurance sector
  • Personality & Work Style: Strategic an analytical thinking, strong communication and negotiation skills, ability to independently lead project, international experience, and intercultural competencies
  • Experience with Management Reporting: Ability to prepare structured reports and business cases to support strategic decisions
  • Language: Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
  • Nice-to-have: Occasional willingness to travel for projects; ideally, you can also communicate in Spanish
