be responsible for integrating mechatronics modules into a high-end wafer-based microscope

implement various measurement methods to optimize module integration and system interaction

collaborate with the team on topics related to electronics and mechatronics, creating an architecture for optimal module functionality and interaction within the overall system

develop and conduct tests at both the module and system levels to ensure functionality and reliability

support an agile development approach during the innovation phase by implementing rapid prototyping and application development

collaborate with internal and external partners on the development of mechatronic components
-
participate in product development and drive improvements at both the module and system levels
-
a strong degree in mechatronics, electrical engineering, physics, or a related technical field
-
experience in the development and design of complex mechatronic machines or systems, demonstrating a solid understanding of systems, particularly in mechatronics, electronics, control engineering, and measurement technology

familiarity with electron microscopy and/or semiconductor technology is a plus

knowledge and skills in designing complex systems using appropriate modeling and simulation methods

proven ability to balance customer requirements with technical implementation options

excellent oral and written communication skills in English; proficiency in German is a bonus

ability to navigate uncertainty in a fast-paced environment
