Mercedes-Benz Cars Overseas is one of the five sales regions of Mercedes-Benz AG, responsible for sales and marketing in over 170 linguistically, geographically, and economically diverse countries. Our region spans from South America through Central and Eastern Europe, Africa, the Middle East, to Asia and Australia.

In our department, you will have the opportunity to gain insights into the exciting world of data. Additionally, you will encounter top current topics such as Data Management, Data Science and Data Quality. As the central unit, we are responsible for managing the overseas markets, which includes regular communication and coordination with individual markets, as well as the implementation of sales projects. Our team serves as the interface between the external organization and the central unit.

  • Collaboration in an interdisciplinary project environment with direct contact to the specialist departments
  • Participation in data management projects in close cooperation with our business partners
  • Support in ensuring data quality and data validation through analysis of data and digital KPIs in reports
  • Participation in the implementation of guidelines and processes in the area of Data Management and Data Governance (e.g., Data Asset Documentation) within the Mercedes-Benz Group
  • Project-supporting activities such as preparation and follow-up of project meetings, as well as the creation of presentations, decision-making, and communication materials
  • Support in shaping the Data Community on the Social Intranet, as well as participation and planning of Data Stewardship activities

  • Studies in the field of Economics, Business Administration, Business Informatics, or comparable studies
  • Proficient German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Proficient use of MS Office as well as affinity for IT and the internet, PowerBI knowledge is an advantage, SQL & Python knowledge is an advantage, Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator knowledge is an advantage
  • Affinity for data and interest in technology topics such as Data Catalog, Data & Analytics, Data Governance, Data Science, Data Management, and Data Quality
