Working Student (m/f/d) – Own Brand Coordinator - German Market

Duration: 1 year contract – extendable
Requirement: Enrolled at a University
Location: Düsseldorf
Working Hours: Up to 20 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in building and developing commercial strategy for METRO's own brands across product categories.
  • Support frequent communication with Hong Kong office and dedicated structure in METRO AG.
  • Engage with Vendor Managers and Product data department to understand commercial reality and ensure product success on the marketplace.
  • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm solutions, implement ideas, and prioritize tasks.
  • Contribute to creating a comprehensive marketplace for Hotels, Restaurants, and Catering businesses.


  • Enrolled in a university course – ideally in a commerce or business-related field
  • Ability to work about 15-20 hours a week to help shape the future of e-commerce
  • Ideally experience in the hospitality and/or restaurant sector
  • Team oriented and can-do positive attitude
  • Very good Microsoft Excel Skills necessary
  • English and German skills necessary; Spanish, Italian Portuguese or French are a plus
