MEAG is part of Munich Re Group and one of the world's foremost asset managers. To support our team inpublic markets trading , we are looking for a working student (m|f|d) at our Munich location as soon as possible.
- Market Research: Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, structure, economic
indicators, and financial news to support trading activities - Supporting Traders: Assist with daily tasks such as monitoring market movements,
pre-/post-trade analysis, hedging strategies and securities lending - Transaction Cost I Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to
support trading strategies and decision-making - Tool Development: Collaborate with the team to develop and enhance analytics
and reporting tools - Reporting: Create detailed reports and presentations on trading performance,
market conditions, and risk management strategies
- You are enrolled in an advanced degree in economics and/or mathematics and ideally have already gained initial professional experience
- You have an enthusiasm for capital markets and trading in stocks, bonds, and/or currencies
- You enjoy soiution-oriented work and proactively contribute new ideas, demonstrating dedication
- You are proficient in MS Office, particularly Power Bl , and have initial programming experience
- Your English is at least at C1 level and your German at least B2 level
- Flexibility: Mobile working options (ability to work from home several days a week), coordination of your weekly working hours with your team, enabling you to balance studies, work, and leisure
