Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Contracts and Bids Manager for our small, international team in the radar system business, located in Munich. The company EA-I (Advanced Radar Technology) EWIV is an international joint venture with French and German shareholders.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director Commercial and Contracts your responsibilities would be the management of all contractual tasks and support in preparation of bids and proposals.
Your Job Responsibilities would be:
- Leadership in Contract Management
- Identification, Interpretation and management of contractual obligations and its associated risks and opportunities
- Claims Management
- Preparation and negotiation of Contracts for Customers, internal Partners, Sub-Contractors and Suppliers
- Leadership in Tender Preparation & Submission
- Bid Go/ No-Go, Bid Decision, Validation of Tenders and Offers, Contract Negotiations
- Monitoring and tracking milestone deliveries
- Leadership in the avoidance of contractual penalties
Due to the international aspect of our business the successful applicant must have the following qualifications:
- University degree / degree programme: Business Law or similar
- an excellent command of the English language (at least C1 level)
- B2 level of the German language, not below
- experience in the international business environment
- at least 5 years experience in the Defence Industry or similar
