Act as a Finance Business Partner for the Head of Strategic Procurement

Oversee the financial planning, the monitoring of budgets as well as the performance steering and the initiation of corrective actions

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives

Analyze procurement data to assess spend patterns, supplier performance, and cost-efficiency opportunities and to derive risk mitigation measures

Identify, prioritize and support the implementation of measures for reducing procurement costs, such as bulk purchasing, supplier renegotiations, and sourcing alternatives / relocations

Perform business case analysis and total cost of ownership calculations

Provide a timely and meaningful reporting with harmonized KPIs to all relevant stakeholders to enable fact-based decision-making.

Support the procurement organisation in collaborating with suppliers and internal teams (Lifecycle Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Supplier Quality Management) to identify existing opportunities for cost-effective product redesigns without compromising quality

Enhance data quality and drive standardization, harmonization and optimization of processes as key enablers of efficiency and scalability

Relevant academic degree (e.g. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field, Master's degree or additional certifications preferred)

5+ years of experience in Finance & Controlling in a global corporate environment and with a focus on Procurement topics

Strong communication, collaboration and presentation skills to successfully navigate in a global, culturally diverse environment.

Analytical thinker with problem-solving skills, a passion to conceptualise and to drive process improvements as well as the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets

Hands-on mentality and passion to co-create a future-fit Controlling organisation

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and SAP

Fluent in English and German
