Engineer / Master Technician (m/f/d)
Powertrain Systems – Field Quality
- Monitor and analyze warranty and quality information data for ICE and xEV systems to address field quality issues early on
- Initiate and conduct claim part and field investigations for root cause detection of ICE and xEV hardware quality issues
- Collaborate with R&D, factories and suppliers to support countermeasure development and validation processes
- Prepare technical reports and summaries based on investigations' results
- Detect and benchmark competitor trends and new powertrain technology
- Successfully completed degree in mechanical engineering / vehicle technology or state-certified technician / master technician with several years of work experience
- Professional experience in a similar position for an OEM or Tier 1 supplier advantageous
- Strong technical knowledge, diagnostic experience and understanding of repair methods for ICE powertrains and 12V systems
- Experience with alternative drivetrain technology (EV, (P)HEV, FCEV) or automotive measurement software (CANApe, CANalyzer, etc.) beneficial
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and analytical thinking skills as well as a drive to deliver results
- Self-motivated, flexible personality with an interest in working in an international team
- Willingness to travel within Germany and Europe
- Valid European Driver's License
