A SAP Finance Process Stream Architect Record to Report (R2R) is a specialized role focusing on the technical aspects of implementing SAP finance solutions to optimize financial processes within an organization. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP finance modules, such as SAP FICO (Finance and Controlling) combined with hands-on implementation experience, and the ability to align these solutions with the organization's financial strategies and goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Vision and Strategy: Own the value stream vision for business performance and customer experience, ensuring alignment with the organization's financial objectives
- Process Optimization: Continuously assess and optimize financial processes within the SAP environment to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Quality Standards: Define and uphold the quality standards for financial processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines
- Stakeholder Management: Manage expectations of all stakeholders, including finance teams, IT staff, and executive management, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintain comprehensive documentation of financial processes and ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field, combined with solid knowledge in Financial Accounting and Indirect Procurement
- SAP Expertise: Extensive experience with SAP finance modules, particularly SAP FICO and R2R/GL in particular. Excellent functional knowledge in R2R configurations and integration knowledge on interfaces as well as WRICEFs. Knowledge of cross functional experience in SAP MM/SD architecture for S/4 HANA for various SAP master and transactional data objects, Fiori and CDS views. Good to have knowledge on: End to End R2R, FI, MM and SD Processes, Banking, all WRICEF items.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively manage complex financial processes, systems and issues
- Project Management: Proven ability to lead projects, manage timelines, and coordinate with various stakeholders
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various levels of the organization and external partners
- Certifications: Finance-related SAP Certifications like SAP Certified are advantageous
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in retail industry is preferred to tailor SAP solutions effectively
- Leadership: Experience in leading development teams or managing cross-functional projects is highly beneficial
- Languages: excellent command of English (written and spoken)
