At smartpatient, we are helping millions to safely take and manage their medications. We combine MyTherapy, the world's fastest-growing medication and disease management app with the pharmaceutical know-how and excellence within the Redcare Pharmacy group (Shop Apotheke).

We are looking for a Conversion Optimization Lead who shares our passion for improving drug safety for millions of people taking medications. Leveraging our outstanding user engagement—featuring up to six app interactions per day—you will take ownership of optimizing conversions within our B2C pharmacy business.

In this role, you will lead an experienced team, including a Data Analyst and a Business Insights Manager, to drive growth and further elevate our performance. You will develop and execute a comprehensive conversion-rate optimization strategy, collaborating closely with our Product and Marketing teams to ensure alignment and maximum impact. Additionally, you will work in partnership with our executive management as well as with our group's marketing department to plan and refine campaigns that accelerate results.


  • Develop and execute a Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) strategy for the app, website, and marketing funnels to drive B2C growth.
  • Lead A/B testing and experimentation, optimizing user flows and conversion points through data-driven methods.
  • Oversee customer journey optimization by identifying friction points and collaborating with design and product teams to enhance user experiences.
  • Analyze and report on performance metrics, presenting actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Monitor and refine KPIs such as click-through rates, signups, and user retention, ensuring conversion funnels meet industry benchmarks.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to align CRO efforts with broader business goals.
  • Conduct user research and analyze feedback to refine the user experience and messaging. Stay updated on CRO best practices and emerging technologies to apply innovative optimization methods.
  • Lead and mentor a CRO team, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous learning.

Must-haves:

  • Around 3–5 years of experience in Conversion Rate Optimization, marketing, or a related area.
  • Strong experience in app user conversion, particularly within SaaS or e-commerce.
  • Proven track record of improving commercial KPIs, such as conversion rates.
  • Experience in optimizing digital services, such as e-commerce
  • Familiarity with analytical tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Quicksight).
  • Around 2 years of leadership experience in fast-paced environments, leading small teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with a structured, hypothesis-driven working style.
  • Ability to present data clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (primary working language).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for achieving goals.
