We are looking for a Mechantronics Engineer (m/f/x) for our unique products in the Elliptec series at our Dortmund location with immediate effect.


  • Design and develop analog and digital circuits for mechatronic systems integration
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronics with mechanical and software components.
  • Develop embedded motor control software
  • Conduct simulations and analyse data to optimize electronic system performance.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, PCB layouts, and test procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electronic systems and components.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in electronics and mechatronics technologies
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience in designing and developing electronic systems for electromechanical products.
    • Strong knowledge of microcontrollers and sensors.
    • Experience with embedded systems programming (e.g., C/C++, Python).
    • Proficiency in electronic design tools such as Altium, KiCad, or Eagle
    • Experience with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, USB, CAN or Ethernet.
    • Familiarity with power electronics, motor drivers, and sensor interfacing.
    • Understanding of mechanical systems and their interaction with electronics
    • Mechanical design of components (desirable)
  • Skills:
    • Functional Skills:
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Ability to support junior members of the team
      • Fluency in English and German
    • Interpersonal Skills:
      • Effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
      • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
