Your Role:
The Head of Human Resources will be responsible for leading and guiding a workforce of approximately 700 employees in Germany. This role will oversee a dedicated HR team of 15 professionals, specializing in areas such as learning and development, talent acquisition, HR operations, employer branding, compensation & benefits, and payroll.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Head of Human Resources for GFT Technologies in Germany, acting as the senior leader of the HR function.
- Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the business to gain insights into organizational structure and strategic plans.
- Build strong relationships with the HR team to support corporate initiatives, priorities, and directives.
- Own and oversee GFT's HR strategy, policies, programs, and processes, ensuring their effective implementation and adaptation as needed.
- Manage the delivery of compensation and benefits programs, providing recommendations and tailored solutions in areas like Compensation and Benefits.
- Oversee the base compensation program, including market analysis, job evaluations, salary structures, policies, procedures, and merit increases.
- Act as a trusted advisor and sparring partner to the COO and management team, earning respect and building strong relationships with management, peers, and subordinates.
- Support and influence business unit strategy by advising leaders on human resources matters.
- Collaborate with the broader global GFT organization, working closely with regional and country leaders and functional heads to align with overall corporate strategy.
- Lead change management processes to support organizational transformation, developing action plans and communication strategies during periods of business change.
- Further develop and implement key strategic People & Culture initiatives, including Strategic Workforce Planning, Onboarding, Talent & Performance Management, and promoting corporate culture.
- Lead a team of HR professionals to recruit, develop, and retain top talent.
- Ensure accurate deployment of HRIS systems across business units.
- Effectively manage employee relations and maintain strong, constructive relationships with Works Councils to foster a positive HR climate, mitigate legal risks, and protect GFT Germany's reputation.
- Cultivate a positive work culture across Germany, inspiring employees and positioning GFT Germany as an employer of choice for top talent.

- Comprehensive knowledge of HR-related legislation and regulations.
- Executive-level director with strong presence, confident in presenting to leadership teams.
- Skilled in communication and negotiation across all organizational levels, including C-suite executives.
- Both a hands-on and strategic leader with a focus on global vision and regional team development.
- Proficient in defining HR vision and driving growth strategies.
- Demonstrates leadership, results orientation, and maturity within senior management teams.
- Experienced in employee representation and labor law compliance.
- High achiever with an entrepreneurial mindset and a professional demeanor.
- Strong IT proficiency, particularly in HRIS systems.
