Job Description
HELP Logistics, a non-profit subsidiary of the Kühne Foundation, is dedicated to enhancing supply chain and logistics performance in humanitarian and development contexts. With regional offices in Kenya, Jordan, Singapore, and Senegal, we collaborate with a diverse range of partners to deliver innovative solutions that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of supply chains worldwide. For more information, please visit our website: https://www.help-logistics.org/
The Thought Leadership initiative will provide scalable solutions that transform humanitarian supply chains by synthesizing insights from HELP Logistics projects and supply chain leaders into evidence-based recommendations for global policy advocacy.
It will produce two main categories of products: regional technical briefs that map out regional leaders' visions into concrete solution roadmaps and an annual global advocacy report that consolidates these briefs into policy statements. The initiative's guiding values are to offer forward-looking, actionable, and bottom-up solutions to emerging challenges in humanitarian supply chains.
You will collect, analyze, and visualize data to create regional technical briefs and global advocacy reports. You will work closely with the other team members to develop workshop content involving representatives from NGOs, UN agencies, government bodies, donor agencies, and the private sector in selected regions.
During these workshops, your tasks will include gathering and interpreting qualitative data from focus group discussions and individual interviews to develop solution roadmaps for the technical briefs. Additionally, you will handle quantitative data analysis for the annual global survey, using your statistical and visualization skills to help write the State of Humanitarian Logistics and Supply Chain report.
Your role will be crucial in blending findings from the global survey with regional technical briefs to develop content, including policy statements and visualizations, for the global advocacy report. This report will present scalable solutions to help shape global policies in the humanitarian and development contexts.
