We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Procurement and Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) to lead our strategic sourcing initiatives and ensure robust risk management practices with third-party vendors. Job Summary

The Head of Procurement and TPRM will lead and manage the strategic sourcing, procurement, and third-party risk management functions to drive operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and risk mitigation. This leader will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement comprehensive procurement and risk management strategies that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Leadership

  • Develop and execute a procurement strategy to obtain external services at optimal cost and quality.
  • Lead end-to-end procurement processes, including supplier selection, contract negotiation and management as well as vendor performance management.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliability and innovation in the supply chain.
  • Consolidate vendor pool across all Solvd portfolio companies.
  • Establish procurement control framework and ensure proper sourcing activity and contract reporting.

Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM)

  • Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risks associated with third-party vendors.
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, privacy, and IT teams to ensure third-party compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Conduct regular due diligence and risk assessments according to company policies.
  • Establish KPIs and reporting mechanisms to monitor third-party performance and risk levels effectively.
  • Address and remediate vendor risk issues promptly and in line with organizational standards.
  • Partner with senior leadership to align procurement and TPRM strategies with company priorities.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience from large organization with geographical spread, preferably from insurance or similar industry.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices, risk management frameworks.
  • Experience with driving cost efficiencies, enhancing supplier relationships, and mitigating third-party risks.
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Preferably experience with delivery of IT services leveraging on modern technology stacks (e.g. cloud, GenAI, …)
  • Experience with procurement and TPRM tools and technologies is a plus.
