WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Objectives of the Role
Provide leadership to all Information Technology related activities and digital transformation efforts across Corporate and Group Functions (e.g., Finance, Procurement, HR, Legal, Communications, etc.), working closely with global functional organizations, Executive Committees, and central teams within the Headquarter organization. Drive innovation and leverage cutting-edge technology to enhance business processes, data management, and technology platforms.
As a member of the IT OpCom and other key executive committees, contribute to overall functional excellence and business efficiency, fostering value creation through adoption of digital solutions and harmonization of technology platforms.
Coordinate the planning, development, and delivery of initiatives and ongoing IT services/operations, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and collaboration with key stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and drive the digital transformation strategy for Corporate and Group Functions, advising management on the most relevant technologies and digital trends to achieve the company's goals.
- Create and maintain a strategic roadmap and lead the IT team and business partners in effective execution of the respective initiatives.
- Contribute to the overall IT strategy, architecture, digital innovation, resource planning, organizational development, and financial planning, ensuring continuous execution and alignment with business objectives.
Leadership and Team Development
- Foster strong stakeholder relationships and business stewardship across the enterprise. Promote communication, transparency, and collaboration across business functions.
- Identify opportunities for technology-driven innovation and solutions. Foster a culture of innovation, transparency, and accountability.
- Develop and maintain a plan for succession and continuity in the most critical IT management positions.
Governance, Delivery, and Operations
- Oversee operational performance and project delivery, maintaining close dialogue with stakeholders to ensure priorities and objectives are met and issues are addressed promptly.
- Ensure governance and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. Establish and enforce IT policies, processes, portfolio management, development standards, and methodologies.
- Oversee sourcing of services, licensing, and relationships with key technology vendors.
- Ensure timely implementation and testing of cybersecurity measures, disaster recovery, and business continuity capabilities.
Technology Leadership
- Advance the digital transformation agenda for Corporate and Group Functions, leveraging data to drive the business forward and enabling advanced analytics and AI.
- Research and implement key digital technologies to transform organizational capabilities and enhance business processes.
- Promote the adoption of digital tools and platforms to improve efficiency, productivity, and innovation across the organization.
- Apply agile methodologies to foster a culture of flexibility, collaboration and continuous delivery.
