The Business Development Manager – Cash Management plays a crucial role in managing client needs as well as adapting to changes in technology and regulations within Transaction Banking.
The individual will drive product innovation and sales initiatives while focusing on client relationships and trust.
Cooperation with global stakeholders, including Coverage Banker, Product and Compliance units, is essential to navigate the complex and evolving financial landscape effectively. Communication skills are vital to ensure clarity and fairness in client interactions, particularly when assessing risk profiles of products.

  • Provide expert advice on Cash & Liquidity Management solutions for corporate clients in Germany, enhancing sales opportunities
  • Serve as the primary non-operational contact for clients, focusing on implementation and day-to-day inquiries about Cash & Liquidity Management products
  • Product Management: Manage the full cycle of local product processing and maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulations and alignment with corporate strategy
  • Collect and analyze data on market trends and financial performance of related products to support strategic decisions
  • Lead the development and execution of new Transaction Banking products and processes, conducting feasibility studies for improvements
  • Work with internal and external service providers to ensure effective solution implementation and maintenance
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in product and service delivery

  • University degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 8 years in Cash & Liquidity Management or similar roles within international financial institutions
  • Deep understanding of the Transaction Banking environment and banking products
  • Strong skills in interacting with senior stakeholders and building long-term client relationships
  • Proficiency in English and German, both verbal and written
  • Experience in international contexts is advantageous
  • Demonstrates strong service orientation and ability to work collaboratively
  • Experience as a Product Owner in complex IT settings
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices
  • Proven ability to manage large stakeholder groups within a bank
  • Knowledge of product management and sales applications
  • Relevant industry certifications are a plus
