You will manage and supervise resources of our site in Sinsheim with about 50 employees in order to manufacture parts with good financial results and will manage new business developments, with target to ensure sustainable profitable growth.
Your responsibilities?
- Budget and Profit & Loss responsibility: Prepare, plan and execute local budget plan, based on sales and development schedule, cost efficient quotes and capacity planning to support business targets
- Manage a mixed team with key target of margin management to ensure sustainable profitable growth related to target performance indicators and start adequate measures, when corrections are required
- Manage and supervise interfaces with other Matrix functions and departments to ensure good communication and knowledge, based on product and customer requirements and implementation of new business
- Manage local team to search, select and approve suited 3rd party subcontractors / suppliers, to ensure optimal availability of resources, best costs and service to the market
- Active member in European Managers meetings
- Communicate company and business tasks and train, coach, motivate and develop performance of employees, within organigram responsibility
- Leadership in local continuous improvement projects
- Manage local resources and investment to reach budget target: Select equipment and machines, ensure optimal capacity load, select and hire new employees, implement new technologies with focus on automation, to ensure profitable growth
- Manage day to day site requirements including safety & maintenance, systems, building, insurances and other services, to ensure that site remains on high level of appearance and order
- Manage communication and agreements with unions, work council regarding relevant HR matters to remain good social climate, also under rising business and operational opportunities.
- Universtiy degree in technical Engineering in Electronics and Mechanics or Process Engineering
- Strong leadership & communication skills and relevant experience in an similar environment
- Organized and teamoriented
- Flexible and result focused
- Financial background to be able to understand relevant reports and P&L
- Fluent in English and German is mandatory
