For our office in Berlin Mitte we are looking for a
Business Analyst (m/f/d)
- Conduct detailed business and technical requirements analysis for banking projects with strong focus on core banking platforms ensuring all functional, non-functional and regulatory needs are comprehensively captured
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including product owners, compliance and IT teams to gather and document detailed business requirements
- Analyze current business processes and recommend improvements to enhance internal and external customer experience
- Support in-depth gap analysis between current state capabilities and desired future state to identify gaps, inconsistences and areas requiring customization and further improvements
- Create and maintain detailed documentation including product specifications, business processes, requirements traceability matrices, providing transparency to all stakeholders
- Work closely with Solution Architects to ensure the target architecture and solution design meet business goals and the intended requirements, resolving conflicting requirements as appropriate
- Interact with external vendors and partners ensuring solutions are aligned with business needs
- Translate business requirements into clear functional requirements and user stories for the development and implementation teams
- Support user acceptance test plan and test cases creation and execution
- Support change and governance processes ensuring solutions comply with bank policy & regulatory requirements
- Educated to bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Good knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, MS Office and MS Visio
- Several years' experience in business analysis within the banking sector
- Strong understanding of financial services operations, products and related technologies
- Solid understanding of system architecture, data modelling, business process engineering and digital transformation trends within banking sector
- Familiarity with various project methodologies such as Agile, Scrum and hybrid approaches
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Ability to synthesize complex information and present it clearly to varied audience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills English. German is a plus
