Bosch Building Technologies is divided into the international product business and the regional system integration business. Currently, the three product areas of video systems, access control & intrusion detection systems and communication systems as well as the associated cross-divisional functions within the division are to be set up as an independent unit and then further developed as a sustainable core business by a new owner.
- International and interdisciplinary cooperation: As Global Specialist Land Freight Transportion (f/m/div.), you will be part of the new company to be set up in the future and thus contribute to a globally networked team of around 4300 colleagues operating in over 50 countries.
- You are part of a highly motivated and global team, collaborating on regional and global transport solutions.
- You contribute to the design and optimization of international road freight operations while considering evolving requirements.
- You are responsible for preparing (request-for-quotation mapping, network planning, volume analysis, transport requirements), coordinating tenders, and maintaining communication with contracted logistics partners.
- The role requires close alignment and collaboration with our Strategic Procurement department.
- You support the continuous development of our logistics network.
- You work closely with operational units, assisting with tender implementation and coordination.
- You are responsible for spot quote management, network design, and transport capacity controlling.
- You manage service provider performance.
- Leading task forces in transport management is also part of your responsibilities.
- You are willing to travel when necessary to visit international locations and gain a deeper understanding of specific requirements within your areas of responsibility.
Education: A completed university degree in Information Technology, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Transport and Logistics, or a comparable qualification.
Experience and Knowledge: Several years of professional experience in supply chain management, along with in-depth knowledge of the transport industry.
Personality and working practice: A team player with a strong sense of responsibility, excellent management and communication skills, a self-reliant working style, and intercultural competence.
Daily Work Environment: Willingness to travel as required.
Languages: Fluent in written and spoken German and English.
