Class teacher primary cycle as temporary replacement in anglophone language section (f/m/d) European School Munich Fasangarten site Primary School Full-time (21-25,5h/week) From 07.01.-31.07.2025 Application deadline: 20.01.2025 The European School Munich (ESM) provides multilingual and multicultural education from kindergarten to the Abitur. It is the only school in Munich in which the national languages of all member states of the European Union are taught. It is part of the system of European Schools, which were founded by the EU member states as official educational institutions. From kindergarten onwards, the children experience community, tolerance and co-operation across linguistic and cultural borders. Education and teaching in the European spirit are supported by a multilingual and multicultural team. Your profile You have a qualified teacher status to teach pupils in English in the primary cycle. Your mother tongue is English. Ideally, you have at least 3 years of professional experience. You have experience with pupils with special educational needs and enjoy accompanying and supporting children on their individual development path. You would like to work in a multinational environment in a team with colleagues from all over Europe and educate children in the European spirit. You have a keen interest in and skills for working in an intercultural environment. You can identify with our educational concept and are motivated to implement it creatively and competently as part of a team. Your tasks Teaching core subjects (Maths, English as mother tongue, English as a foreign language and discovery of the world. On the basis of a jointly agreed curriculum (all EU countries). Exchange and co-operation with teachers from different language departments. Time quota: 21.0-25.5 hours/week. We offer Team working in a multinational environment.
