Bilanzbuchhalter / Senior Accountant (m/f/d)
unlimited – full time – 40 hour-contract
Become part of our 4-person team and take charge of critical financial operations:
- Prepare and maintain financial statements in accordance with IFRS and German GAAP
- Manage P&L, General Ledger, and Balance Sheet accounting
- Process and record debits and credits accurately
- Handle various tax-related matters including VAT, trade tax (Gewerbesteuer), and corporate tax (Unternehmenssteuer)
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and tax regulations
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Contribute to the preparation of financial reports for management and external stakeholders
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a similar role
- Certificate as a Senior Accountant or similar (e.g. Certified in international accounting standards - CINA)
- Fluent German (B2) and Intermediate English (B1)
- In-depth understanding of IFRS and German GAAP
- Proficient in P&L, General Ledger, and Balance Sheet accounting
- Expertise in processing debits and credits
- Comprehensive knowledge of German taxation (VAT, trade tax, corporate tax)
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e. g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
