The QBE (Quotation and Booking Engine) project is your once-in-a-lifetime chance to shape the future of Hapag-Lloyd! Trade management plays a key role to support this project. With this project we are reshaping the way we are doing business in HL. We are doing this by connecting our product offering close to the quotation, booking and allocation management processes and thereby realizing a whole new customer experience while being able to steer our business way better than today.
  • Contribute actively to the development of Pricing related concepts and systems by working closely with Product, Process owners and QBE workstreams
  • Product Owner of the QQS dynamic pricing model.
  • Collaboration with Revenue Management to develop and implement new commercial products and concepts as well as initiatives to increase product uptake and pricing strategies within QBE
  • Support revenue management HQ & QBE as TM PoE for Product & Pricing related topics providing TM perspective as well as different TM validations required for the products.
  • Drive standardisation and performance of digital pricing tools within Trade Management
  • Develop analytical tools as business expert to support pricing processes
  • Responsible to drive standardization and automation across Trades for pricing related topics
  • Ensure adherence to global processes and guidelines within the Pricing teams worldwide for Product & Pricing strategies in coordination with Revenue Management HQ.
  • Perform refresher training for pricing tools as required
  • Point-of-Entry for the coordination of global TM Pricing QBE topics
  • Creation of ad-hoc presentations for management
  • Involvement in various Global and TM related projects as TM representative (e.g. as PMO, lead, participant, advisor)

  • University degree in business/economics or completed vocational training in shipping
  • Prior experience in trade-related functions, e.g. sales, marketing, account management, networks or business intelligence
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HL applications (FIS, QlikView) or the motivation to quickly become acquainted with them
  • Distinct analytical thinking and strong communication skills
  • Experience in project management
  • Very good MS-Office Skills, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel, to prepare and illustrate complex issues in a simple and understandable manner
  • High level of assertiveness and the willingness to drive things forward in order to achieve certain targets
  • Fundamental drive and motivation, as well as the willingness to learn along the way
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and verbal
