Our Renewables Team in Germany is looking for you!

Originate and develop the energy offtake contracts for Uniper's renewable assets development entity "Uniper Renewables GmbH" in Hungary.

  • Securing the energy offtake solutions for our country specific pipeline of wind, solar and battery assets through PPAs or other contracts
    • Origination, structuring and negotiation of power purchase agreements (PPAs) in Hungary
    • Coordinating the participation of Uniper's renewables projects at regulatory tenders for subsidies (e.g. Feed-in Tariffs or Contracts for Difference)
  • Leading on the route to market strategy for the energy and certificates from Uniper's renewable assets
  • Widening the network of market players (local utilities, corporate offtakers, trading companies etc.)
  • Collaborating cross functional within the Renewables business as well as with relevant internal and external stakeholders and partners
    • Project Development, Market Analysis, Pricing and Legal
    • Risk, Tax, Accounting, Compliance etc.

Reports to the Head of Energy Offtake Central & Eastern Europe


  • Expertise in renewable energy with proven track record in commercial contract negotiations
  • Work experience in either a trading, (PPA) origination, sales, power procurement or comparable commercial role
  • Good network across the Renewable Energy Industry and/or potential power offtakers

  • Project and stakeholder management experience with analytical mindset
  • Understanding of the renewable energy markets, pricing schemes as well as regulatory renumeration systems

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • International work experience and appreciation of cultural differences
  • Willingness to travel monthly
  • Business fluency in English. German and Hungarian is a plus
  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Commercial Law or comparable studies

  • Creative and open-minded individual with a good sense of humor
  • We are flexible on where the role can be based

Most work can be done from home with willingness to work from the office at least once a month
