I am looking for a Finance / Site Manager to lead initiatives, drive improvements, and manage business controlling to optimize performance and achieve goals in a dynamic industry. The role requires expertise in controlling, project management, and communication to guide teams, foster innovation, and ensure seamless operations. Located in Hamburg, with travel within Germany.

  • Oversee financial operations and ensure robust local controls at a designated site.
  • Manage statutory financial reporting, fostering strong relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver insightful internal management reports to guide strategic decisions.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, safeguarding the operation's stability and growth.
  • Act as a key liaison with investors, Directors, accountants, and the management team, building valuable partnerships.
  • Ensure compliance with local legal, financial, and tax requirements, maintaining the highest standards of integrity.
  • Take accountability for profitability (P&L), operational performance, and team achievements.
  • Lead budget planning, cost control, and resource allocation to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Set inspiring team goals (KPIs), champion engagement, and foster a culture of growth and development.
  • Uphold QHSE standards while spearheading continuous improvement and innovative practices.
  • Strengthen the commercial footprint of the local operation, driving long-term success.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (HR, IT, QHSE) to ensure seamless alignment and teamwork.

Required Experience:

  • Experience in Business Controlling or similar position and a strong background in the industry (preferably in areas such as manufacturing, engineering, or energy).
  • Proven track record in strategic planning, performance management, and process optimization.
  • Strong communication skills in German and English to collaborate effectively with international teams and stakeholders.
