The Supplier Quality Engineer II for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for supplier management, the delivery of quality products and developing supplier capability for future needs.
This position is part of the Quality department located in Munich, Baierbrunn and will be on-site. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop supplier management plans to improve supplier and product performance
- Perform supplier audits & material qualifications
- Develop supplier material control plans and incoming material inspection plans
- Disposition nonconforming material and develop plans to prevent reoccurrence
- Participate or drive root cause and corrective action analysis regarding supplier caused manufacturing issues
- Visit suppliers to resolve product performance concerns.
This role is a temporary employment limited to 18 months.

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or science field with 2+ years' experience; or Master's degree in field with 0-2 years' experience
- Ability to read and understand specifications on engineering drawings
- Investigation skills to determine root cause(s) of issues
- Technical writing skills to document investigation results
- Excellent communication skills
Travel Requirements:
Ability to travel – up to 25% travel, overnight, mostly within Germany & Europe
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Medical Device or other regulated Industry
