We are looking for a dedicated and experienced VP People Excellence (f/m/d) to collaborate closely with our CHRO. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for translating our global people strategy into everyday operations. Your work will ensure that our values are effectively reflected both internally and externally while supporting the overarching goals of our company.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Act as a senior advisor to the business, providing strategic guidance and expertise on key HR matters.
  • Possess deep domain knowledge and extensive experience in negotiating with Workers' Councils.
  • Lead and develop the People Excellence team in Germany, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Collaborate on budget and personnel planning, working closely with the People Analytics team.
  • Support to build the HR strategy and implement it across the business.
  • Manage freelancer activities, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and collaborating with external service providers.
  • Work as part of the HR senior leadership team to deliver the strategic milestones.
  • Ensure a positive employee experience for all BMG employees in Germany.

What You Bring

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience at a senior or similar level, with extensive knowledge of German labor law.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to manage and negotiate different interests.
  • High intercultural competence and the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultures and levels.
  • Experience in collaborating with works councils.
  • Exceptional communication skills in both German and English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Experience in an international environment, supporting a matrix organization in particular is helpful.
  • A collaborative and open-minded leadership style with a strong team orientation.
