At the Wetzlar location (40 minutes to Frankfurt a.M.) we are looking for you as:
Area Sales Manager Professional / B2B (all genders)
- Planning and control of all activities for the distribution of our high-end camera systems (e.g. S-system, SL-system, M-system) for professional use for an assigned region (Western-European-Area)
- Intensive sales-side and training support for Leica subsidiaries, Leica stores, existing authorised dealers and distributors; active sales of the entire professional product range, support for new product launches; participation in relevant trade fairs and industry events
- Continuous observation and analysis of trends and developments in the professional photo market; strong cooperation with HQ in creation of tailored programs for professional users; cooperation with retail partners for participation in B2B projects
- Development of a professional network; visit of photo studios and commercial photographers to arrange workflow demonstrations; consultancy for change of photographic systems
- Participation in the further development of our B2B sales strategy, implementation of the strategies in your region
- Education as photographer / Business in professional photography
- Many years of successful activity as Area Sales Manager in international sales
- Very good knowledge of distribution strategies and channels relevant for premium B2B goods
- Good knowledge of the professional photo industry
- Business sense and self-reliant, structured, target-oriented working method
- Fluent in English, further language skills desirable
- Excellent presentation, communication and enthusiasm skills at all levels of the company
- High level of empathy and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel intensively in the sales region approx. 80%
