Job Description

TT-Line is one of the leading ferry companies in the Baltic Sea, using modern ferries between Germany, Poland, Lithuania and Sweden. TT-Line carries over 1,000,000 passengers and more than 500,000 freight units annually on its 4 routes, making it the market leader in southern Sweden traffic. TT-Line currently employs around 900 people on board and in the land offices in Travemünde, Rostock, Trelleborg, Karlshamn, Świnoujście / Szczecin and Klaipėda.

To strengthen our Hotel Operations in our headquarter at Lübeck, Germany we are looking as soon as possible for a:

Hotel Operations Manager (m/f/d)

You will oversee the seamless operation of all Hotel & Catering services on board the vessels within your area of responsibility. This includes managing the onboard shop, bar and restaurant areas, reception, and cabin services.


  • Ensuring the commercial success of the hotel/catering area on board
  • Budget monitoring and cost control
  • Develop and implement new catering concepts
  • Coordination of the operation, ensuring the service quality and the standards
  • Leading, motivating and coaching the team on board
  • Responsible for onboard marketing
  • Taking care of customer feedback
  • Modernization and increasing the efficiency of the hotel & catering operation
  • Planning the duty roster and working hours of the employees on board
  • Ensuring the maintenance of the catering and hotel areas on board the ship
  • Close cooperation on board with the nautical and technical departments and the Captain

  • Apprenticeship in Hotel & Catering or degree from a Hotel Management School
  • Managerial experience in Hotel & Catering, ideally as Hotel Manager, F&B Manager, or Executive Chef
  • Strong decision-making, service orientation, and adherence to food hygiene and safety standards
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with economic focus and hands-on-approach
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and team collaboration skills
  • Proactive, responsible, and self-motivated
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Business-level English (spoken and written)
  • Class B driving license and high willingness to travel (including aboard our vessels)
