In this role, we provide investors, financial institutions and companies access to global capital markets.Deutsche Börse Cash Market is a business segment within Deutsche Börse Group's Trading & Clearing Division and home of the cash equities markets Xetra and Frankfurt Stock Exchange. The Cash Market Strategy team supports the development of the long-term organic and inorganic growth strategy for the business segment, manages strategic M&A projects and other initiatives at the interface to other areas within Deutsche Börse.
As a member of the Cash Market Strategy Team, you will analyze growth options in the context of global regulatory, political and market dynamics. This includes the screening of venture investment opportunities, the management of strategic initiatives and M&A projects.
- As part of the team, you will support the development of Deutsche Börse Group's long-term organic and inorganic growth strategy in the Cash Market business segment
- You will proactively analyse and validate growth options in the context of market, competitor and regulatory intelligence and be responsible for shaping decision materials and business cases for decision making
- You will independently screen possible venture investments or M&A targets and assess their business models
- For selected initiatives, you will take responsibility in the delivery full projects or work streams
- As part of inorganic initiatives, you will participate in due diligence processes
- You have successfully completed your university degree in business, economics, or a similar field
- First practical experience of 2-3 years in corporate strategy / M&A, strategy consulting or a similar field
- You have theoretical and practical knowledge regarding the relevance and functioning of capital markets as well as in-depth understanding of business principles and processes
- You are experienced in developing management and executive decision material presenting complex topics in an appealing and easy to understand manner (strong MS PowerPoint skills)
- You are excited about the ability to work in an agile environment and able to dive into new topics quickly
- Fluent in written and spoken English, additional German language skills will be an asset
