- Lead complex and detailed market research and analysis initiatives to identify trends, opportunities, and threats within the industry, contributing to the strategic objectives of the Divisional Market Intelligence and Strategy Team at Schaeffler Vehicle Lifetime Solutions Headquarters.
- Oversee the collection, rigorous analysis, and interpretation of data on competitors, customers, and broader market conditions in close collaboration with cross-functional experts and the international VLS Market Intelligence Network.
- Drive and influence strategic planning and high-level decision-making processes by providing actionable, market data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Develop, manage, and refine comprehensive market intelligence databases and intelligent reporting tools to support the organization's strategic goals.
- Continuously monitor and assess industry news, regulatory changes, reports, and emerging trends to ensure the organization remains agile and well-informed.
- Prepare, present, and communicate in-depth reports, compelling presentations, and dynamic dashboards to senior stakeholders, offering insights on market trends, competitive landscape, and key performance indicators.
- Strategically identify and evaluate new market opportunities and potential growth areas through state-of-the art research, thorough analysis, and advanced data interpretation.
- Stay at the forefront of advancements in market research tools, methodologies, and technologies to enhance the organization's data collection and analysis capabilities.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with external partners such as market research institutes, data providers, and expert groups to enhance the organization's market intelligence capabilities.
- Successfully completed degree in business administration, economics, industrial engineering or related field.
- Extensive experience in market intelligence, competitive intelligence, or strategic analysis, preferably within the automotive or related industries or consulting.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and convey actionable insights to executive-level stakeholders.
- Proven track record of leading and executing strategic market intelligence projects that directly influence organizational strategy.
- Advanced proficiency in market research tools, data analysis software, and methodologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong collaborative mindset with experience working in international and cross-functional teams.
- Successfully completed degree in business administration, economics, industrial engineering or related field.
- Very good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely in English, German skills would be an advantage.
