Job Description
Spairliners is a joint venture between Air France Industries and Lufthansa Technik. The company offers a comprehensive component support solution for A380 and E-Jet operators. The services include the provisioning and management of the spare parts inventory and overhaul and repair of components, together with the appropriate logistics. Overall Spairliners guarantees the availability of aircraft components where and when required. Founded in 2005, the company is headquartered in Hamburg; warehousing is located in Paris.

This is your opportunity to join Team SPAIRLINERS as Asset Manager (all).

  • Continuously monitor the inventory level to ensure the right availability of parts while keeping cost of ownership under control (e.g., take advantage of pool effect, manage purchase decisions, understand the related financial impacts of asset decisions)
  • Manage the investments, overstock identification, sales, pool balancing, and associated activities
  • Support cross-functional operational teams and ensure long-term efficiency of the Pool product
  • Negotiate best purchase prices and develop a secured procurement strategy e.g., supplier network, processes, pricing and quality standards
  • Lead development of suppliers, relationship management as well as the negotiation of new and existing contracts to establish strategic partnerships with key suppliers and brokering specialists


  • Master's or bachelor's degree in business administration, alternatively a relevant apprenticeship as industrial sales representative with a minimum of 3 years of work experience in the procurement/ purchasing environment (link to aviation industry preferred)
  • Very good negotiation and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and data management skills (excellent Excel knowledge)
  • Fluent in English and ideally another language
  • Intercultural competency
  • Aviation Regulatory Requirements (EASA/FAA)
  • Component trading skills
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP environment
