At DWK Life Sciences, we're looking for a driven and strategic Key Account Manager to spearhead the sales efforts within our Laboratory Channel business. This is your opportunity to make a real impact by building lasting relationships, driving growth, and collaborating with a dynamic global team.


  • Own the Full Sales Cycle: Manage and drive the entire sales process for top accounts, from initial engagement to closing, ensuring long-term success and growth.
  • Customer-Centric Culture: Be the face of our customer-first approach through face-to-face meetings, networking, and continuous engagement to strengthen relationships.
  • Revenue & Forecasting: Take full responsibility for forecasting, business cases, and ROI strategies while driving revenue growth.
  • Strategic Expansion: Collaborate with leadership to develop strategies to expand our business relationships and grow long-term networks.
  • Share of Wallet: Develop and execute account-specific roadmaps to increase share of wallet, leveraging customer portfolio analysis to align with DWK Life Sciences' capabilities.
  • Bridge Communication Gaps: Serve as the vital link between key accounts and internal teams to ensure smooth, operational success.
  • Problem Solving: Address challenges and customer concerns proactively to maintain strong, trusting relationships.
  • Sales & Marketing Collaboration: Partner with the marketing team to create tailored sales action plans and marketing initiatives that resonate with customers.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of market trends and monitor competitive activities to ensure our position as an industry leader.

  • Experience: A successful track record in Key Account Management, particularly in the Pharma or Life Sciences sector, where you've supported large enterprise customers in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Scientific Insight: A strong foundation in scientific studies and an understanding of the importance of building trusted customer relationships at all levels.
  • Strategic Thinking: The ability to think critically about business, product, and technical challenges and turn them into opportunities.
  • Collaboration Skills: A team player who thrives in cross-functional collaborations, but also demonstrates resilience and perseverance when working independently.
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent communication skills in English and German, both written and verbal.
  • Tech-Savvy: Knowledges in Salesforce or other CRM systems, along with strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
