We are looking for a business minded, experienced and driven Business Controller, for a permanent full-time position within our Finance Department in Nürnberg or Bremen.
As a Business Controller within Saab Deutschland, you will be a member of a dedicated Finance team who supports and tracks the financial development of our projects together with each project manager, steering committee and project owners. Your main tasks will be the following:
Responsible for the total income statement and balance sheet for one of our Divisions in Saab Deutschland, in terms of business plans, budgets, forecasts and actuals.
Responsible to report the projects within one of our Divisions in Saab Deutschland together with the project managers including monthly actuals, forecasts, budgets and similar. You will be a member of the project(s) steering committee(s). You will also work closely with the Line Managers.
Supporting your project managers but also make clear demands.
Involved in our Winning Business process as well as in our Executing Business processes, to ensure short-term and long-term profitability.
Ad hoc tasks within the finance organization such as teaching financials to others outside the finance organization, studies, investigations and similar.
We are looking for a driven, flexible, business minded and analytical Business Controller, preferably with at least 5 years' experience within the Business Control field, who is flexible with a structured way of working. You have a solid financial background, business understanding, ability to work efficiently and drive change when needed.
In order to be successful in the role you need to have good communications skills as well as a high ability to prioritize and be able to see the bigger picture. You also need to have a drive for setting the agenda, ways of working and securing your network within SAAB. We also expect you to be confident in yourself and act with clear ethical values. Good English skills are required, both verbally and in writing. Being a team player is expected and something we emphasize.
