International Marketing Director Shape post-acquisition marketing agenda, execution and innovation – technology services growth
FTSE 250 technology services business which has grown across Europe through multiple acquisitions and organically. Headquartered in London, challenge to set the direction and harmonise marketing, digital presence and lead generation across the footprint, taking in a diversity of solutions, routes to market and cultural contexts. Transformation already under way across four European BUs addressing B2B Enterprise and SME markets across UK and Europe, with the benefit of compelling unifying brand. Critical, high-profile leadership role with Board visibility, potential for huge revenue and margin growth through effective application of modern, Digital-led marketing. Linking with BU heads / sales leaders and technical Centres of Excellence creates unique opportunity for ambitious, broad B2B marketer to energise a dispersed team and shape the agenda for a new in-market presence. Hybrid role based in London, Cologne, Amsterdam or Barcelona.
- Reporting to Chief Product and Marketing Officer, lead and embed consistent best-in-class marketing across BUs
- Project-manage achievement of ambitious metrics for Digital-led capability development and demand / lead generation
- Harmonise tools, techniques, mindset across disparate locations and routes to market, through dispersed team of 20+
- Highly commercial remit to enable and maximise revenue growth in rapidly-evolving B2B technology services segment
- Devise and implement strategy to enhance marketing performance, leveraging Centres of Excellence across disciplines
- Bring teams and stakeholders together. Champion growth marketing mindset. Align campaigns and tactics to objectives
- Ramp up marketing thought leadership, data-led lead generation and consistent reporting across processes / initiatives
- Impact collaboratively across wider BUs, Sales, Product Development, and Technology functions seamlessly
- Empower the team to stretch performance through sense of purpose and focus on excellence and the customer.
- 5+ years' international marketing leadership in B2B services, ideally across technology or fintech sectors (eg. SaaS)
- Demonstrable record of harmonising disparate marketing approaches internationally following acquisition(s) or similar
- Proven expertise and thought leadership across all key marketing disciplines, with major success record in lead generation
- Demonstrable experience balancing B2B revenue-generating initiatives across BUs, enhancing ROI to increase investment
- Proven impact and influence across cultures and routes to market, ideally with detailed understanding of channel
- 10+ years building marketing expertise across disciplines, with major focus on data, tools, digital and overall harmonisation
- Evidence of outstanding communications, thought leadership, performance measurement across complex landscape
- Strategic, creative, practical, hands-on, persuasive – proven authority and communications acumen, financially aware
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or similar, ideally MBA; international mindset and frame of reference
