Do you want to lead high-impact strategy projects across ZEISS?

Our team supports the development of ZEISS through strategic projects, across all areas of the ZEISS Group (our businesses, corporate functions and country organizations). We are a fast-paced, dynamic team with colleagues from diverse backgrounds. In our projects, we advise top management on questions such as: Which new markets should ZEISS enter? How do we best design operating models? What is the strategic rationale behind our new acquisitions?

  • A project leader, challenger and problem-solving partner

  • Diagnose business issues and understand the drivers

  • Structure project approaches and define what is in scope

  • Set up and steer project teams – often with cross-functional members, in part with external consultancies

  • Conduct required analyses

  • Derive data-based recommendations

  • Engage stakeholders across hierarchy levels incl. the Executive Board and present recommendations


  • A degree with excellent grades in natural sciences, or engineering

  • At least 4 years at one of the leading management consultancies, corporate strategy or other fast-paced strategy roles leading project teams

  • Strong problem solving skills, results-orientation, project management, and communication skills

  • Outstanding analytical competence, strategic and outside-the-box thinking

  • Enjoy working in an agile way in networked, diverse, and interdisciplinary teams

  • Passion for innovation and enthusiasm for new technologies

  • Fluent English skills, German is a plus
