Our Risk Management team in Düsseldorf is looking for you!

  • Support activities of the newly set up Liquidity Risk team, to help optimize and steer the associated risks of commodity trading of the Uniper group
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of margined portfolio movements, develop forecasts and identify key drivers
  • Support projects and develop enhancements to model liquidity risks in Liquidity/Credit Risk Systems
  • Support steering of the margined portfolio across various exchanges and OTC markets, evaluating limit usage, develop stress scenarios
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with commodity trading desks and provide recommendations to optimize current portfolio
  • Monitor liquidity risks for the Uniper group, understand and explain the liquidity risks to various stakeholders

  • Degree in business, finance, economics, mathematics, or related field
  • Previous experience in Risk/ Liquidity management or Treasury within an investment bank or energy trading company
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Experience in quantitative risk methodologies (VaR, PFE) and stress testing
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Excel, SQL, or Python
  • Strong team player with experience of working in an international and multicultural team, with the ability to cultivate strong positive working relationships
  • Ability to work independently, form own judgment/opinions, provide insights and drive change
  • Strong team player with the ability to establish solid inter-departmental relationships
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with Senior Management
