Job Description

As an automotive supplier, DENSO is leading in developing and providing components and systems for heating, air conditioning, motor cooling, exhaust gas aftertreatment, automotive electrics and electronics and instrumentation.


As Engineering Application Administrator (m/f/d) you are working in the field of IT application service. Mainly you are responsible for maintaining system infrastructure and providing service for applications and process digitalization.

  • Install, update and administrate PLM and ALM systems (e.g. Atlassian Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, ReqMan, Siemens Teamcenter)
  • Maintain and develop the internal Atlassian tool environment
  • Provide support and system maintenance for our internal requirements engineering application ReqMan and import customer specifications
  • Develop and deploy Siemens Teamcenter customizations and ITK programming
  • Support our internal users for other local, regional and global Engineering IT systems and maintenance of user accounts in various systems
  • Install and maintain global DENSO systems
  • Preparation and roll-out of Engineering IT application upgrades
  • Monitor Engineering IT applications and system performance, implementing improvements as well as software and hardware evaluation and testing
  • Lead small site-specific projects
  • Identify and evaluate future trends in the field of Engineering IT and generate ideas to make use of it

  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or in a similar discipline
  • Experience to administrate, manage and customize PLM systems, ideally Siemens Teamcenter
  • Experience to administrate, manage and customize Atlassian products like Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket
  • Ideally experience with ReqMan by em AG
  • Preferred is a combination of technical knowledge about system management and configuration including the underlying databases
  • Experience with programming languages (ideally ITK programming) is an advantage
  • Very good level of English and good level of German (written and spoken)
