We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Auditor to join our team and support our holding function.

You will be part of Solvd Internal Audit and responsible for audit projects, focusing on technology-enabled business operations, emerging technology trends, data governance and management, and artificial intelligence. The role is about adding value to the business by identifying business risks at an early stage and helping to improve the internal control system.


  • You will plan, design, lead and execute technology-specific audits including topics such as technology systems, IT projects, and environments, evaluating the effectiveness of controls and risk management practices.
  • You will identify risk-focused audit areas, assess business processes, workflows, transactions, and control frameworks to determine deficiencies and vulnerabilities.
  • You will analyze audit results, formulate clear and actionable recommendations, and lead closing meetings with auditees.
  • You will ensure proper documentation of audit work performed, including detailed workpapers and take responsibility for writing comprehensive audit reports and following up on the implementation of the agreed actions.
  • You will manage relationships with auditees, handling challenging situations, and delivering conclusions in a diplomatic and professional manner.
  • You will communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, providing timely updates on audit progress and outcomes.
  • You have a comprehensive knowledge of digitalization and data analytics.
  • You will stay informed about emerging technological trends and developments and assess their impact on business operations and risk management practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • You have a Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • You have a minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in technology auditing or technology risk management, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • You have a strong understanding of technology, associated risks, control frameworks, and leading industry practices.
  • You have a good understanding of auditing principles and techniques, as well as risk management concepts.
  • You demonstrate a high level of integrity, reliability and responsibility.
  • You are open to change and new (technical) developments, adaptive, innovative and agile.
  • You have a passion for people, are collaborative, empathetic, solution-oriented and curious.
  • You demonstrate ownership, work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • You have strong analytical with the ability to identify risks, evaluate controls, and provide practical recommendations.
  • You have strong communication skills - in German and English, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • You are proficient in using audit management software, data analytics tools and techniques, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • You are open to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP) are a plus.
