For our site Diehl Metering GmbH in Nuremberg we are looking for a:
Senior Head of Firmware Smart Metering Solutions (m/f/d)
- You lead the international firmware department for development of our smart metering solutions; by creating an environment based on trust, open communication and creative thinking you ensure the success of our smart metering product development.
- You manage the performance of your team including selection of the dedicated tools and methods; plus you ensure the proper development of your team competences.
- You are responsible to plan your team capacity to have well-staffed R&D projects and you ensure that product development is following aligned guidelines as well as working towards continuous improvement.
- You continuously enlarge the network with external partners and manage partners in the most efficient way.
- You communicate business expectations as well as information to the teams and represent the company in development-related communication with customers.
- You have successfully completed your studies in Electrical Engineering or similar and have several years of professional experience in the field of complex new product development (embedded devices) as well as proven leadership skills in an international environment.
- You have knowledge in low-power wide-area networks (LoRaWAN, NB IoT, mioty®, etc.).
- You have experience in overseeing the entire solution value chain, including sensors, connectivity networks, back-end solutions and software applications, also in an international environment.
- You are target-oriented as well as team-orientated and have a high social competence in leading employees; your personality is characterised by resilience, self-motivation, organizational skills and an openness for new challenges.
- Your are fluent in English; an additional language (e.g. German or French) is a plus.
