Senior Head of Firmware Smart Metering Solutions (m/f/d)

• You lead the in­ter­na­tion­al firm­ware de­part­ment for de­vel­op­ment of our smart meter­ing solu­tions; by cre­at­ing an en­vir­on­ment based on trust, open com­mu­nic­a­tion and cre­at­ive think­ing you en­sure the suc­cess of our smart meter­ing product de­vel­op­ment.
• You man­age the per­form­ance of your team including se­lec­tion of the ded­ic­ated tools and methods; plus you ensure the prop­er de­vel­op­ment of your team com­pet­ences.
• You are re­spons­ible to plan your team ca­pa­city to have well-staffed R&D projects and you ensure that product de­vel­op­ment is fol­low­ing aligned guidelines as well as work­ing to­wards con­tinu­ous im­prove­ment.
• You continuously enlarge the net­work with ex­tern­al part­ners and manage part­ners in the most ef­fi­cient way.
• You com­mu­nic­ate busi­ness ex­pect­a­tions as well as in­form­a­tion to the teams and rep­res­ent the com­pany in de­vel­op­ment-re­lated com­mu­nic­a­tion with cus­tom­ers.

• You have suc­cess­fully com­pleted your stud­ies in Elec­tric­al En­gin­eer­ing or sim­il­ar and have sev­er­al years of pro­fes­sion­al ex­per­i­ence in the field of com­plex new product de­vel­op­ment (em­bed­ded devices) as well as proven lead­er­ship skills in an in­ter­na­tion­al en­vir­on­ment.
• You have know­ledge in low-power wide-area net­works (LoR­aWAN, NB IoT, mioty®, etc.).
• You have ex­per­i­ence in over­see­ing the en­tire solu­tion value chain, in­clud­ing sensors, con­nectiv­ity net­works, back-end solu­tions and soft­ware ap­plic­a­tions, also in an in­ter­na­tion­al en­vir­on­ment.
• You are target-oriented as well as team-ori­ent­ated and have a high so­cial com­pet­ence in lead­ing em­ploy­ees; your per­son­al­ity is char­ac­ter­ised by re­si­li­ence, self-mo­tiv­a­tion, or­gan­iz­a­tion­al skills and an open­ness for new chal­lenges.
• Your are flu­ent in Eng­lish; an ad­di­tion­al lan­guage (e.g. Ger­man or French) is a plus.
