As an (Key) Account & Business Development Manager, you will be the strategic partner for assigned Drug Product (DP) customers. You will drive account management, nurture long-term relationships, and identify new business opportunities to achieve sales growth and business success. This role has three key responsibilities: Managing existing Business, Developing New Business with existing customers and engaging with new customers. You will manage the Existing Business by:
  • Spearheading cross-functional teams in negotiating commercial terms, including quality and legal agreements, and preparing relevant reports for budget and forecast analysis.
  • Leading communication and negotiations on price adjustments for the assigned DP portfolio.
  • Ensuring compliance with agreements with customers and facilitating governance meetings with assigned customers, ensuring compliance with agreements with customers.
  • Collaborating with customers on KPI improvement plans, monitoring and reporting on customer KPIs with teams.
  • Supporting customer escalation processes and managing related communications.
You will develop New Business with Existing Customers by:
  • Identifying new opportunities with assigned Customers with focus on parenterals.
  • Developing and negotiating quotations for new projects or services.
  • Leading customer visits to showcase Siegfried's capabilities.
  • Supporting commercial aspects of Technology Transfer projects and monitoring their progress.
You will engage with New Customers by:
  • Assisting in onboarding new customers in coordination with Business Development teams.
  • Participating in site visits to demonstrate Siegfried's expertise and facilities.

  • 3 - 5 years of prior experience in pharmaceutical account management or business development, with a focus on parenterals and biologics.
  • Master or PhD in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or Business/Economics.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in dynamic environments with a strong results orientation, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of CDMO main contractual terms and understanding of cGMP regulations.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20-30% during peak periods, along with proximity to our DP site in Hameln or the willingness to visit it regularly, aligns with the position's requirements.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
