Based in our Global Client Care department, the Client Care Operations Manager (m/f/d) will oversee and manage the supply chain & logistics of our spare parts and the quality feedback loop for continuous product improvements. This role includes strong cross-functional & cross regional relationships while following a determined strategic vision.

This is a permanent full-time position located in our headquarters in Cologne.

Client Care Operations Manager (m/f/d)


Supply Chain Management:

  • Develop effective supply chain strategies including DDS&OP process to optimize workflows having the right spare part at the right place in the right time.
  • Define needs especially for launches, ensure timely sourcing of spare parts and work closely with our procurement team.
  • Ensure appropriate stock service level for stores & repair workshops – target at 98% for buffered items.
  • Set up the adequate parameters and implement new technologies and methodologies that may improve procurement & distribution processes.
  • Develop & animate the supply chain community across regions.

Logistics:

  • Manage the end-to-end logistic flow from shipment to delivery including budgeting and scheduling.
  • Oversee spare parts hubs' activities ensuring order fulfilments are minimized through efficient warehouse management practices.
  • Identify logistic bottlenecks, define root causes, and set up new solutions to ensure efficiency.

Quality:

  • In relation with our Quality team, establish and share quality control processes consistent with internal guidelines including security & safety with our Client Care & Retail communities.
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative quality analyses, reducing occurrence of the most common quality points.
  • Organize monthly quality cycle loop with Quality & Product Development teams, defining calls-to-action for continuous improvements.
  • Present outcome of the monthly cycle to ComEx members.

Team Management:

  • Lead a team of 4 direct reports.
  • Engage your team members by enhancing their capabilities and competencies.
  • Constantly review the team organization to follow business evolution.

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, master's degree preferred.
  • Relevant certifications from APICS - CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management)
  • Proven experience of 8+ years in operations management within the fields of supply chain/ logistics/ quality assurance.
  • Strong understanding of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within these areas.
  • Exceptional team leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams towards achieving organizational goals.
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to simplify complex topics.
  • Demonstrated ability of managing and executing operational details, while also understanding the big picture.
  • Sense of priority & pragmatic approach incorporating a strong client-orientation.
  • Excellent analytical abilities coupled with practical problem-solving skills on operational issues.
  • Proven ability to develop effective business relationships and work cross-functionally.
  • Ease with data analysis and proficient with MS Excel
  • Fluent English skills and good level of German (at least B2-level)
