About Ecolutia

Ecolutia Services provides outsourced water treatment services to industrial customers globally. We support specialist water production at customer sites in various industries, 24/7, with round-the-clock technical support.

Our fleet of modular pre-engineered systems provides many treatment options, including filtration, brackish-water and seawater reverse osmosis and ion-exchange technologies. Our equipment and personnel are highly skilled and knowledgeable and travel globally at short notice for short and long-term projects. The ability to respond rapidly to our customers is critical to our success.


  • Primary responsibility will be the daily operation and maintenance of a water treatment plant located at a customer site.
  • Manage the treatment process and adhere to set protocols and procedures.
  • Manage consumable inventories and complete preventative maintenance program at the job site.
  • Record and review appropriate operational data and log all system parameter readings.
  • Provide daily operational readings and escalate any pressing operational matters as required.
  • Monitor and ensure systems produce contractually agreed water volume and quality.
  • Ensure all plant equipment operates within design tolerances.
  • Review and analyse data trends and support troubleshooting efforts in coordination with the line manager and technical support.
  • Maintain daily professional communication and direct relationships with the customer's on-site team, including site engineers, project managers and senior management.
  • Ensure daily communication with other Ecolutia personnel in the field and back-office.
  • Assist the field operations team in meeting all customer expectations.
  • Abide all HSE requirements and actively participate in ensuring an excellent track record.

The main deployment location is in the greater Gelsenkirchen area, and we seek a State-Certified Technicians or a Graduate with a technical degree, who is legally permitted to work in the EU. You must be fluent in German and have a high level of English language skills.

You will be a forward planner with a solid practical and hand's-on approach and require good soft skills, to effectively communicate with confidence when dealing with people at all levels of an organisation in one-to-one or team situations.

You will need to be skilled in analysing situations and problem-solving. As our main daily link to the client, you must ensure project targets and expectations are continually met.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Science or Engineering or a State-Certified Technician.
  • Legally permitted to live and work in the EU.
  • Desirable, experience in a similar role or the water treatment industry working on Filtration, Reverse Osmosis, Ion-exchnage and Chemical Dosing applications.
