Are you ready to push the boundaries of adhesive science? At tesa, we are looking for a Research Scientist specializing in ionic liquids to advance our next-generation debonding-on-demand adhesives. Bring your expertise to a global leader in adhesive solutions and contribute to exciting new developments.
- Design and develop electrically releasable adhesives based on ionic liquids.
- Investigate the electrochemical mechanisms driving the debonding process.
- Translate adhesive solutions from the lab to practical applications, ensuring smooth implementation for customers.
- Share and expand ionic liquids expertise within tesa's global R&D organization.
- Participate in multidisciplinary technology and product development projects.
- Collaborate with academic and industrial partners to drive innovation.
- Protect your research through the generation of intellectual property.
- A Master's or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science with a strong focus on ionic liquids' chemistry, properties, and applications.
- Familiarity with adhesives is a bonus but not mandatory.
- Previous professional experience in the chemical industry is advantageous.
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills with an innovative and proactive mindset.
- A team player with a customer-centric approach and excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in English; German is a plus.
