You wil be fuly responsible for al food service operations within multiple sites ensuring operational exce lence and that a l aspects of our Food Program are adhered to at al times. You get to empower and develop your team, making sure they provide great food experiences. You wil need to ensure al your sites are fuly compliant with Compass process, health and safety and food hygiene regulations and run commercialy in line with net growth and retention targets. You wi l be expected to build strategic client relationships to ensure retention of contracts is maintained.
The great things you will be expected to do:
- Embrace and deliver al aspects of the customer designed Food Program to an exceptional standard and bring user experience with the right story and o ering on a new level.
- Promote the Food Program to users through our food choices, displays, space designs while acting as a Compass Advocate at al times
- To condently lead and inspire your team of up to 100 FTEs through inclusion, training, coaching, development and feedback
- To maintain team engagement always by de ning clear targets and standards.
- Identify and develop internal and external talent to ensure clear succession planning.
- Fuly accountable for al Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Functions within your food service areas. To ensure a maximum result in Compass and other external audits.
- Ensure al food waste is minimised, recorded and where possible re-used with impac ul action planning to drive this initiative,
- Ensure al appropriate Health, Safety and Environment information, instruction, training and supervision are provided to al employees within your Units and records maintained. Promote campaigns to encourage improvement in the workplace environment.
- Understand and deliver al contractual terms.
- Analyse and manage e ectively al in unit costs and ensure budgets and Forecasts are understood and adhered to Ensure ful purchasing compliance where possible.
- Understands what “good looks like' - analyses performance data to look for operational e ciencies and best practice.
- Respond to feedback within 24hrs unless delay agreed with the Head of Operations.
- Minimise agency and overtime spend and when necessary, ensuring that agency sta are trained to the Food Programs highest standards.
- Ensure al HSE incidents are correctly reported and investigated with relevant reviews of work procedures.
- Encourage Sta participation in ‘Your Voice' and ‘Best Companies' surveys and help implement action plans.
- Support and promote sta retention plans to help reduce turnover.
- Identify any additional opportunities to make things be er. Constantly looking for new ideas in technology with AI & KI, food innovations, trends, service & people.
- Drive forward engagement & enablement initiatives, encourage fresh thinking and initiative in the team and encourage feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Constructively chalenge existing ways of working; aiming to make things simpler and better.
- Recognise best practice and successful changes in the team.
- Minimum of 5 years in a senior management/leadership role
- Commercialy focused with ability to analyse, measure impact and results and to set SMART goals to deliver KPIs managing larger catering business.
- Ability to create and maintain e ective relationships, in uence and colaborate internaly and externaly at al organisational levels.
- Proven ability to handle budgeting and nancial management for a budget exceeding 20 milion euros.
- Demonstrates Compass values and recognition principles.
- Understands and has knowledge of industry trends and direction; ability to learn and e ectively utilise the clients Workspace tools.
- Strong communicator in English and German that can condently speak with al levels within the business, where necessary utilising negotiation and reasoning ski ls.
- A demonstrated track record of successfuly managing leading teams of over 100 employees
- Communicate and colaborate across many teams about multiple projects taking place simultaneously.
