- You build and nurture effective networks with international stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration across functions and regions.
- You define procurement strategies for assigned categories, managing the entire strategic procurement process from start to finish.
- You conduct market analysis to identify and evaluate suppliers, uncovering new opportunities and sources of value.
- You develop and maintain a collaborative, long-term Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) approach with key strategic suppliers.
- You negotiate commercial terms and conditions with both contractual and non-contractual partners, including quick RFPs and one-time buys, while ensuring compliant contracting.
- You lead projects aimed at improving operational sourcing processes through standardization, digitalization and automation, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
- You execute procurement controlling tasks, generating in-depth analysis and reports (e.g., supplier overviews), ensuring data quality, transparency and actionable insights.
- You monitor and ensure compliance with legal requirements, taking proactive measures in case of deviations. Raise awareness around market risks and opportunities to keep the business ahead of the curve.
- You will be based in our Düsseldorf Headquarter with international travels as a part of your role.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Several years of experience in Indirect Procurement, with strong knowledge of procurement processes
- Knowledge in the areas of supply chain, logistics, warehousing, transport and packaging.
- Proven ability to analyze data, generate insights, and support strategic decision-making
- Experienced in leading complex, cross-functional projects and achieving results within deadlines
- Strong negotiation skills, with a track record of securing favorable terms while ensuring compliance and value
- Pro-active and outgoing character with the skill to inspire the surroundings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive organizational change
- Experience in an international environment; initial leadership experience is an advantage
- Fluent in English; German is advantageous
