Our cross-functional team at Digital Business Innovation builds digital solutions and business models while driving strategic digital programs. We use customer-centric methodologies like Design Thinking combined with business and strategy acumen.

Your Role

Learn and support the Design & Insights team at ZEISS Digital Partners along the entire UX research process that covers

  • Support in developing a research plan for early stage/Design Thinking projects

  • Support preparing research guidelines, conducting onsite or remote research to explore user needs and validate hypotheses

  • Support in documenting and storing research data efficiently

  • Supporting synthesis of actionable insights with team members

  • Building knowledge on AI tools and methodologies

  • Supporting workshops and conducting desk research

  • Providing administrative support for design research operations


Gain first-hand experience in strategic development of future customer experiences for ZEISS products and services. Learn about Design Thinking, Service Design, and User Research from experienced team members in a diverse, international team. Explore various fields and industries, including medical technology, eye care, industrial metrology, and more.


  • You study communication science, psychology, anthropology, human–computer interaction, UX design - or a similar professional field
  • You are interested in design thinking, user research, UI/UX design and agile development 

  • You have a basic knowledge of customer user research and methods and want to learn more

  • You think and work in structured ways, are good at self-organizing, time and task management 

  • You are interested in new technology and how it can improve human experiences 

  • You are empathic and a great team player

  • You are fluent in English and ideally also German

  • You live in Munich or are willing to relocate
