(Senior) Requirement Engineer Wind Turbine Control (m/f/d): In the Wind Turbine Control group, the focus is on software development for the control and automation technology of the wind turbine.

YOUR TASKS

  • Analyzing field data of wind turbines together with different disciplines within engineering & service
  • Managing requirements and writing functional specifications
  • Supporting the process to improve the operational performance of the wind turbines
  • Supporting the definition of software changes together with the system responsible
  • Directly in contact with core software developers
  • Tracking the implementation together with the project management
  • Member of the full software development process
  • Performing / reviewing acceptance test in lab and field test


  • Successfully completed technical degree in electrical engineering, automation technology or comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in managing requirement and writing functional specifications is required as well as a good SW background
  • Experiences in the agile software development according SCRUM are preferable
  • Good knowledge of different communication protocols (e.g. Profinet, Modbus TCP) is required
  • Knowledge in the use of Matlab/SIMULINK is preferable
  • Good knowledge of MS-Office and especially MS-Excel and data / statistics visualisation
  • Fluent English is required, additional skills in German and/or Spanish are nice to have
  • Strong results orientation and quality awareness coupled with good abstract thinking
  • Initiative as well as responsible, structured and sustainable way of working
  • Teamwork and communication skills
